DESCRIPTION:https://ligeti-zentrum.de/event/spatial-audio-listening-session-sals/\n\n\n\nSpatial Audio Listening Session (SALS)\n\n\n\nDas ligeti zentrum\, der Verband Deutscher Tonmeister (VDT) und die Student Section der Audio Engineering Section (AES) laden zur Spatial Audio Listening Session (SALS) ein. \n\n\n\nBei diesem zweistündigen Format werden mehrkanalige Audioproduktionen verschiedener Formate und Genres präsentiert\, kuratiert und moderiert. Bei einem Kaltgetränk ist es gewünscht\, sich zwischen den Stücken über das Gehörte in der Runde auszutauschen. Im Nachgang des Programms besteht weiterhin die Möglichkeit zum offenen Austausch bei angenehmer Hintergrundmusik. \n\n\n\nAuf die Ohren gibt es mehrkanalige Stücke verschiedener Formate\, von quadrophon\, über octophon\, kanalbasierten Stücken und Ambisonics.Wir werden über die Formate sprechen und tiefer in die Materie eintauchen können – kein Vorwissen benötigt. \n\n\n\nUm Anmeldung unter sals@tonmeisterverband.org wird gebeten.Einlass ab 15:45 Uhr.Eintritt frei.

The popularity of ‘smart’ and ‘wearable’ devices has driven developments in low power processors and sensors that are enabling the augmentation of headphones with features more typically associated with hearing aids. A future convergence is possible.
