On Monday, May 26, the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Germany Berlin section hosted another engaging and insightful event titled “Recording to Mix to Master”, held at the beautiful Ableton AG space in Berlin.
The evening was hosted by AES Germany representative Angelika Podola, who brought the community together for a deep dive into the art of mixing and mastering. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ian Corbett and Maggie Luthar for their fascinating presentations. Ian shared his experiences and techniques for recording and mixing a live jazz club project, while Maggie provided valuable insights into her mastering approach, complete with audio examples and professional tips.
Special thanks to Ableton for generously providing such an inspiring venue. It was a fantastic evening of learning, networking, and shared passion for audio engineering.
