Lukas Komnenovic, Janis Käune und Johannes Hennig wurden von der AES Germany e.V. mit je 100 € Förderung unterstützt, um an den Wettbewerben der AES Convention 2023 in New York teilzunehmen.
Johannes schreibt:
“Ende Oktober durfte ich mit zwei Kommilitonen vom Institut für Musik und Medien der Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf nach New York reisen, um die AES Convention 2023 zu besuchen. Wir haben an der Student Recording Competition der Audio Engineering Society teilgenommen und beide meiner Kommilitonen durften einen Preis mit nach Hause bringen:
Lukas Komnenovic konnte mit seiner klassischen Produktion Bronze in der Kategorie „Traditional Acoustic Recording“ für sich entscheiden. Janis Käune hat in der Kategorie „Traditional Studio Recording“ Bronze für seine Bigband-Produktion des Songs “Naima” in Stereo und Dolby Atmos gewonnen.
Wir haben viele interessante Einblicke in die internationale Musikbranche bekommen und den Ausflug genossen.

Two prizes for Düsseldorf students at the AES Convention NYC 2023
Lukas Komnenovic, Janis Käune and Johannes Hennig have each received €100 funding from AES Germany e.V. to take part in the competitions at the 2023 AES Convention in New York.
Johannes writes:
“At the end of October, I was able to travel to New York with two fellow students from the Institute for Music and Media at the Robert Schumann Hochschule to attend the AES Convention 2023. We took part in the Student Recording Competition of the Audio Engineering Society and both of my fellow students were able to bring home a prize:
Lukas Komnenovic won bronze in the “Traditional Acoustic Recording” category with his classical production. Janis Käune won bronze in the “Traditional Studio Recording” category for his big band production of the song “Naima” in stereo and Dolby Atmos.
We gained many interesting insights into the international music industry and enjoyed the trip.
